The Village Board creates independent commissions, boards, and committees to expedite business, assist the Board in making its policy decisions, and meet legal obligations. These include the Plan Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals, Board of Fire and Police Commissioners, Police Pension Board, Environmental Quality Commission, Street & Pathway Committee, Water Committee, Economic Development Committee, Stormwater Management Committee, and others.
The Board may also meet as a "committee of the whole" to discuss specific topics of interest. If you would like to know more about these committees and obtain agendas, minutes, or information, please search this website, and if such information you are looking for is not on the website, please contact Village Hall staff. We are always looking for volunteers to serve on these committees, so please apply if interested.
