Notice of Misleading Political Mailing
The Village has been informed of a misleading political mailing which has been sent to residents that was crafted to appear to originate from the Burr Ridge Police Department. The organization sending this solicitation has no affiliation with the Village of Burr Ridge, the Burr Ridge Police Department, and/or any of its employees’ unions. The Village of Burr Ridge, the Burr Ridge Police Department, and/or any of its employees’ unions will never solicit funds on behalf of the Police Department or Village. The Department is fully funded and has no need to solicit funds in such a manner to uphold its duty to provide a safe community.
